BFA World Championship Welcomes Myers Training Stable
Barrel Futurities of America is pleased to announce Myers Training Stable as an award sponsor for 2013 BFA World Championship. Myers Training Stable(Bill & Deb Myers) will present champion and reserve champion belt buckles, champion trophy stirrups, and champion saddle racks to the BFA World Futurity, MVP Juvenile Futurity, 4 Star Derby and $uper$takes event winners and the year-end BFA Futurity winner.
Myers Training Stable is a breeding cornerstone of the barrel racing industry. Best known for their famous stallion Frenchmans Guy, Bill and Deb Myers have expanded their stallion program as well as introduced a training program and hosted an annual production sale.

First episode, Wednesday, Feb. 27, 8:30 p.m. CT. Repeats Thursday at 10:30 a.m., Sunday at 9:30 p.m., and Monday at 5:30 a.m. Second episode, Wednesday, March 6, 8:30 p.m. CT. Repeats Thursday at 10:30 a.m., Sunday at 9:30 p.m., and Monday at 5:30 a.m.
Telecast includes barrel racing competition, interviews with BFA champions, and Future Fortunes champions.
Finalize and Plan-BFA Board on Task for 2013
The 2012 Barrel Futurities of America World Championship crowned the Champions, wrote the checks, presented the awards, and thanked the sponsors. Paying out nearly $800,000 and awarding over $200,000 in awards and bonuses, the BFA Board of Directors met January 20 & 21, 2013 to finalize the 2012 event and begin planning for 2013.
Citing positive feedback on the new alley set-up, schedule change, and the ground crew’s efficiency, the Board sped through a routine agenda. Changes that may occur for the 2013 World Championship will be facility related as Oklahoma State Fair Park continues its construction projects. Notices will be posted on the BFA website regarding those changes.
The 2013 BFA World Championship boasts a Futurity purse of $70,000! Additionally, Future Fortunes is celebrating its 10th Anniversary, and is preparing great bonus opportunities for its members competing at the World Championship. The BFA continues to attract new futurity enthusiasts through its Futurity and Derby Amateur Finals. More importantly, the BFA World Championship rewards every age of barrel horse-MVP Juvenile (3 yr. Olds), BFA Futurity(4 yr. Olds), 4 Star Derby(5 & 6 yr. Olds), and Victory Farms 4D(all ages).
