RARE JET EXTREMES
possesses characteristics which make him an all around sire. His
foals have speed and athletic ability, good looks and confirmation,
gentle dispositions and respond readily to training in the arena
and the racetrack, making them useful to experienced and novice
horsemen. He has sired several winners at the track including several
stakes finalists. Rare Jet Extremes' daughter, Extremes Dot, clocked
the 2nd fastest time of the entire weekend at the 2003 D&G in
Topeka from 757 entries, placed 3rd in the Speedhorse Sweepstakes
from 328 entries and 4th at the 2003 B&W Winter Spectacular
in Tulsa out of 833 entries.
RARE JET EXTREMES has been used in barrel racing and
now in team roping. He was a 1D winner in NBHA competition and won
the Sr district title for KS ll. His first career was on the racetrack.
As a 2 yr old, he won his 1st and 3rd races with AAA+ speed, earning
101and 102 si. He defeated Winalota Cash who later won the All American
Futurity. Disaster struck RARE JET EXTREMES in his fourth race.
He was nearly knocked down leaving the gates and chipped both knees.
Already paid up in G3 LaChiripada Stakes, a decision was made to
go ahead with the race. He won the trial heat and was 4th in the
finals with AAA times in both races. He then underwent knee surgery.
He went on as a 3 yr old to win two races and one third place and
ran AAA times in 6 races. As a 4 yr old, he ran 5 AAA races. He
is AAA or AAA+ at every distance from 300 to 440 yds.
His pedigree is world class. Sixarun, his sire, and Streakin Six,
grandsire, are both all time leading sires of money earners. His
maternal grandsire Rare Jet is the sire of all time leading AQHA
money earner and 2-time world champion, Refrigerator si 115 and
champion Rare Bar si 114. All three of these sires have been listed
among the leading sires of barrel horses.
RARE JET EXTREMES stands 15-3 hands, is sorrel with
lots of roan hairs. He has sired several roans, paints, grays, buckskins,
red duns and a palomino, as well as sorrels, browns and bay. It
is rare to have the opportunity to breed to a stallion of this caliber
for the low price of $750.
